Cailin McKinney, LPCA (she/her)

Cailin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who enjoys working with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and self-esteem. She believes that providing a nonjudgmental and validating environment is essential for helping clients to reach their full potential. She is passionate about building a collaborative partnership in therapy and utilizes a person centered approach to help clients achieve their goals. She has training in Internal Family Systems and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

 

She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016, with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Kentucky University in 2021. Cailin completed her two year long internship at Community Mental Health Center Incorporated, located in Lawrenceburg Indiana. She also has experience working with substance use disorders, crisis intervention , domestic abuse, group therapy, couple's therapy, and community mental health.

On her time off, she enjoys spending it with friends, family, and her pets. She is passionate about the outdoors and is always looking for new places to explore.
